COMPLIANCE ENGINEER

Description

  • Examine electronic schematics and supporting documents to develop, compute, and verify specifications for drafting data, such as configuration of parts, dimensions, and tolerances. 
  • Draft detail and assembly drawings of design components, circuitry and printed circuit boards, using computer-assisted equipment or standard drafting techniques and devices. 
  • Design printed circuit boards using OrCad 16.0 or higher software.
  • Generate bill of materials to match schematic, import printed circuit software files to AutoCad to generate complete drawing package. 
  • Other duties as required by Supervisor.

Position Requirements

  • BS Degree in Design or Electrical Engineering preferred or equivalent and relevant education and experience.
  • Technical training in printed circuit board design software, such as OrCad, Cadence or Alegro Cadence.
  • Fluent use of auto-router and auto placement feature of design software is a plus, while maintaining design constraints.
  • Excellent written and communication skills.
